Somewhat of a Database interface, hacker access process i suppose.
The format can go into a million different varieties such as profiles or information design.
Quite some loops of code. Threw in an imbedded video file to jump the gun a little bit.
Tried to have a few different things going on at once.

Setting up hacking as a minigame is an interesting concept. It does look like a database of sorts, partly due to the streams of white going up and down each monitor as static and the map of that region. If you want to emphasize the hacker aspect of this, i'd consider putting more lines of text that show up as you click each object.

Cool application of the political stuff into the program. What if instead of just showing the image of the place since you show it at the end there is something related to each region in the shape when you get it correct.
I agree with anthony about the imagery use. Overall the interface animation is pretty slick and smooth. Although it gets a bit slow but that maybe due to the smaller window size.
Very interesting take Eric, I like the elements used within the whole piece. I agree with Anthoney when saying maybe try a different shape or animation for when the selected area is 'correct'. Overall nice colors. Oh yeah and Nice GRADIENTS DUDE!
